Digging, cutting, pruning, cultivating are
all jobs that need to be done and we have a complete collection
of tools and accessories to make it easy for you. Many of
our customers
are new to gardening and we pride ourselves on the advice
we can give you and our tools reflect the level of sophistication
you might need as a novice, enthusiastic amateur or professional.
We will help you make the right choice from well respected
names such as Felco,
Gardena and Yeoman and Senator covering value for money ranges to professional
tools. Gloves for all ages and hand sizes in a huge range
of styles can also be found in our garden products shop including
the very popular Master Gardener thorn and chemical resistant
gloves from Town and Country.
Fertilisers, pest and weed control, lawncare
So you've watched all the gardening programs
and you know what to do? No? Fear not - we are here to help!
Camden Garden Centre has all that you need to feed those special
plants both indoors and outdoors - look out for controlled
release fertilisers which last for up to six months and ericaceous
feeds for acid lovers. Keeping your lawn (well patch of grass!)
looking good is a difficult task in London but aerating, weeding,
feeding and patching with seed are jobs made easy with the
right products. Suttons Rapid Green Lawn Seed will grow quickly
and thickly even in shade, moist or dry conditions! Those
pests and diseases make for a constant battle - apart from
greenfly and black spot, vine weevil and slugs are a menace
(as are cats and squirrels!). Provado Vine Weevil Killer gives
six months protection against vine weevil and Just Slug Killer
will give six weeks control of slugs- fantastic! And we have
the latest cat repellants including the electronic ultrasound
versions (which also repel mice, rats and squirrels….)
We are committed to providing alternatives to chemical pest
and fertiliser solutions so we have a great range of organic
and nature friendly products.
Seeds & Bulbs
For those who want to grow their own, our
seed and bulb range is one of the largest in London including
an excellent collection of organic vegetables and every conceivable
herb you can think of - over 130 varieties ! Bulbs for spring
flowering are available from August and bulbs for summer flowering
available from January - a great way to produce massess of
specialist flowers at an exceptionally low cost. We select
choice bulbs from the top growers, Taylors,
that will grow in London gardens and containers - our lilys
are sensational!
Watering Equipment
Automatic watering systems are our speciality
- they are easy to install - and provide just the right amount
of water even when you are on holiday. If you prefer, we offer
an installation service. Of course we also have every type
of watering can, spray, sprinkler and hose, for garden and
patio, or even car cleaning
Turf
We supply turf of the highest standard for
discerning customers - seed sown, cultivated, weed free turf
on sandy loam. The mixture of seed used produces a hardwearing
lush green turf of semi shade tolerance. Each roll covers
1 square metre and is appx 2 metres long by half a metre wide.
We only supply fresh turf so we take orders up to Wednesday
lunchtime each week, for collection or delivery on the Saturday.
