The outdoor plantarea at Camden Garden Centre is conveniently
arranged so that plants for sun or shade can be easily found.
We only stock plants of the highest quality and with our ever
changing calendar of price promotions, plant buying at Camden
Garden Centre is a pleasure! If we don't have the plant you
require in stock we will try to order it for you. Our hardy
plants are guaranteed for five years.
Shrubs, roses, trees and hardy perennial
plants
You will find over 200 of Londoners' favourite
shrubs such as lavender, bamboo, bay trees, camellia, magnolia,
phormium, olive, vinca and rosemary. We also specialise in
bringing  new
exciting plants for you to add to your collection - majestic
palms such as trachycarpus fortunii, black stemmed bamboo,
or the exciting astelia - a metallic looking plant! Beautiful
fragrant roses add impact - choose from over 150 varieties
of hybrid tea, floribunda, shrub, ramblers, climbers and ground
cover roses from the UK's best growers. Hardy perennials (herbaceous
plants) are always popular with stunning flowers and foliage
- our outstanding collection of nearly 200 varieties of herbaceous
plants, grasses and ferns will leave you spoilt for choice
- dazzling delphiniums and foxgloves, superb hostas, hellebores
and geraniums, exotic agapanthus and acanthus to name just
a few!
Climbers
London gardens need climbing plants to disguise
the walls and other surrounds and you will not be disappointed
with our collection of over 170 varieties to choose from,
including jasmine, hop, passion flowers, honeysuckles, ceanothus,
wisteria and grapevine and over 85 different clematis. We
always have good stock of evergreen climbers - look out for
Clematis armandii, and Loniceras halliana, Halls prolific
and henryi and a whole range of colourful ivies.
Bedding and trailing plants
Instant colourful bedding plants for borders,
pots, and containers in the garden, balcony or window box
cheer us up in the grey days of winter and brighten the whole
area from spring through to autumn. Hanging baskets welcome
us home to lazy summer evenings surrounded by sumptuous colourful
containers - what bliss! We have a plethora of bedding plants
all year round - including superb cyclamen, solanum and winter
flowering pansys in winter, native primroses and polyanthus
and potted bulbs of every description in the spring. The summer
and autumn see us bulging at the seams with hundreds of varieties
of plants by the pot and in packs - for example we carry up
to 100 varieties of trailing plants, and well over 120 varieties
of bedding including pure white busy lizzies, sweetpeas, Mediterranean
portulaca and lantana, wonderful fuchsias, outstanding geraniums
(pelargoniums) and petunias of every colour and hue.
